About Us
Since our inception in 1985 the historical restoration and renovation business has been the primary focus of our work. Private client projects provide the mainstay of our business but our association with the Ontario Heritage Foundation, Heritage Canada , and Public works Canada have given us the unique opportunity to expand our horizons. Our long time staff can pool their extensive expertise in all aspects working with the as built environment to successfully complete any project. We use the Algonquin Heritage Carpentry and Advance Housing graduates as the core of our talent. This enables our clients to take advantage of the most up to date practices and techniques in the field. Our millwork and cabinetmaking facilities include the ability to match any moulding profile and create cabinetwork that is unique to the building and in keeping with the as found details of the project. Our non production line approach to cabinetry affords us the flexibility to create unique pieces for any situation. From the smallest detailed moulding profile to a large timber framing project, we can deliver. Our experience has shown us that restoration and renovation is both cost effective and energy efficient if the right details are in place. Our awards include a Certificate of Merit for restoration at the Korean Embassy , CPA award for the Summer House Pavillion, and Merit Award for Heritage Infill from the Town of Almonte. |
